Description:

The project for a new construction work at La Florida, like the sister project, has a main entrance in work, which maintains tits natural colour and grain. Furthermore, all the furniture in the living room, kitchen and bathroom is wood lacquered in white. The fitted wardrobes have sliding and folding doors, replete with spaces and compartments for storage. The connecting doors are made of wood with a matte white veneer, which enhances the design. Of note in this project are a number of special features that have been custom designed by Carpintek: the wooden pergola located in the pool area is accompanied by some changing rooms made of wooden slats treated for damp and outdoor weather conditions. Without forgetting the panelling adapted to the spiral staircase or the small ancillary table in the kitchen, in exposed wood, which prolongs the projection of the island.

Challenges of the project:

The greatest challenge in this project involves the design of special features outdoors. The pergola and changing rooms for the pool should not only be resistant to the wet coming from the outdoor pool, but also to outdoor weather conditions throughout the entire year. Nevertheless, this did not prove to be a problem thanks to the choice of wood and its subsequent treatment to guarantee its quality and optimal results.
